President Dean Schlitter opened the meeting at Luigis.

The Rotary sponsored Business After 5 was a success, thanks to all who attended.

District Rotary Conference will be held April 24-26 in Cedar Rapids.  Dean, Susan, Kent and Joan plan to attend.

The Williams Center will host the Beach Boys, Sunday Night, April 27th at 7:00 p.m.

The Rotary Bicycle Poker Run will be held June 19th, 6-8 p.m. Volunteers will be needed to help with this fundraiser.

Our speaker today was Steve Westerberg on the new Teacher Leadership Grant the district received.

Happy bucks: Mike Kerns was happy to surprise his mother by having his sister back for Easter, Charlene Stocker was happy that Mike’s mom didn’t have a heart attack when she saw her daughter! Joan Loew was happy with the Business After 5 support for our schools.  Steve Westerberg was able to have Easter with his family. Bob Larimer’s daughter is again one of the top 5 property managers of the year in Arizona.

Kent Nelson’s name was drawn for the $8.00 jackpot he was not in attendance so there will be a carryover for next week.

Meetings will be held at Luigis through June 2014.
