Business After 5 will be held at Fidelity Bank on Wednesday, December 4th.
Branson on the Road will be held at the Williams Arts Center on Sunday, December 8th.
Happy Bucks were given Al Sanderson just because he had a good weekend, Kent Nelson reported the Florian Denis, our Rotary exchange student moved into the Nelson family on Sunday, Gene Fuelling had a good Thanksgiving with his family and is looking forward to the Big 4 Classic games in Des Moines this weekend. Chris Black was happy to report on the many Oelwein kids who are now playing golf in college including his favorite, Mackenzie Black and others who are working at golf courses across the country. Matt Vogel spent the weekend with grandkids and reported the Grand had its best weekend ever.
Our sympathies are extended to Kathie Larson and Steve Westerberg on the passing of their fathers.
Walt Saur’s name was drawn for the $8.00 jackpot, there will be a carryover for next week.
Our presenter today was our own Deb Howard informing us about the Ol’ Time Christmas and the 12 Days of Christmas activities. Be sure to participate or volunteer your time if you are able. Contact Deb at OCAD to see what their needs are.
Rotary Board meeting was held immediately following the regular meeting.
December 9th Rotary Christmas party with the OCHS choir presenting. We will also be collecting food for the food pantry. Spouses/guests are invited to attend as well. A signup sheet was sent around if you and guest plan to attend. If you missed today, please contact Jon King and let him know you plan to attend.
January, February, and March meetings will be held at Luigis.
