President Dean Schlitter opened the meeting at Luigis.

Our speaker today was Oelwein High School Senior, Mason Clendenen.  He spoke about his future in computer engineering and motor cross activities.

Six Rotary members attended the4 Club Rotary meeting at Sumner last week.

Happy bucks were presented by Mike Kerns who enjoyed a leaf spring snowmobile rally from Fairbank to Oran; Steve Sanders returned from 10 days in warm and sunny Sarasota, FL visiting his son, Eric; Deb Howard leaves for snowmobiling in South Dakota for 10 days, Kent Nelson was happy to report that our student Rotarian, Kaitlyn’s sister, April Forsyth was accepted to medical school at Des Moines University; Matt Vogel was happy for the boys basketball win; Steve Westerberg was happy for the girls basketball win; Dean Schlitter took his wife Sue to the Waterloo BlackHawks hockey game for her birthday.

OCAD will host Trivia Night on March 8th from 6-8 at Luigis.  Cost is $10 per person with teams of 6-8 people. Sign up by calling the OCAD office.

Laura Sires’ name was drawn for the $8.00 jackpot, there will be a carryover next week.
