Positively Oelwein and the City of Oelwein sponsored a free city-wide cleanup last Saturday that was an overwhelming success.
Mike Kerns will be sending out a link to order Rotary shirts. If you would like to order one, please contact Mike.
The Rotary Board meeting will be held immediately following today’s meeting.
A date for the Chrysler Park cleanup will be set up soon, stay tuned!
Business After 5 will be held at Grandview Nursing Home. Ashley reports there will be a Hawaiian theme.
The Rotary Poker Bicycle Run will be held June 19th from 6-8 p.m.
Matt Vogel’s name was drawn for the jackpot of $10.00, which he donated to the citywide cleanup.
Our speakers today were Craig Allen and Amber Smith from Grandview Care Center.
Happy Bucks were given by Al Sanderson who enjoyed a great weekend. Bob Larimer’s 48 year old daughter graduated from Ashfold college online with a 3.98 GPA. Susan Macken’s son graduated from ISU. Gene Fuelling enjoyed the high school pops concert. Clint Berryman was happy to see the large pile of junk out of the city of Oelwein. Todd Bradley also enjoyed the pops concert and congratulated Darci Fuelling and Sue Schlitter and Natalie Bradley on the performances. Matt Vogel’s son-in-law was named teacher of the year in Phoenix. Mike Kerns watched a van drop off some junk and take some junk away from the pile on Saturday. Dean Schlitter enjoyed the pops concert and appreciated his wife Sue as accompanist.
Our foreign exchange student, Florian’s graduation party will be held May 28th at Luigis.
