Joan Loew called the meeting to order.
Student Rotarians Katie Steward & Corey Harkin were not present
Announcements:
Rotary Foundation donations need to be paid before the end of May to be counted towards 2015. Anything after June 1st will go towards 2016. We have not met our goal for 2015, so members are strongly encouraged to make a donation and help the Oelwein Club in reaching the goal.
OCAD Flower Basket – Taking donations now to purchase downtown hanging flower baskets
May 2 – Walk to Water at OHS track. Set up at 8am, still needs volunteers.
May 2- Positively Oelwein “Daddy Daughter Dance” @ Plaza
May 8-9 – Hometown Rewards Audit Blitz. Call OCAD to register.
Bob Larimer was recognized for recruiting 2 new members to the Oelwein Rotary Club

Happy Bucks –Joan Loew, Jon King, Mike Kerns, Steve Westerberg, Jamie Letzring, Dean Schlitter & Bob Larimer
Drawing – $7.50 pot, won by Bob Larimer.
Gene Fuelling fined Bob Larimer 50 cents for winning pot due to him recruiting 2 new members. Alos fined anyone who has not had a home energy audit completed.
Program was presented by Travis Bushaw on Oelwein United Way. Goal for 2015 is $82,500.00. Travis told about the local programs they are involved in as a group and about the agencies funded by UW.
