Announcements:

                Feb. 16 – Rotary board meeting following regular meeting

                Mar. 13 – OCAD sponsored Trivia Night @ Luigi’s

                Apr. 17-18 – District Conference @ Okoboji

                Rotary  Foundation – we have met 1/3 of our goal, please donate soon so we can receive the President’s Award at convention.

                RYLA – Rotary Youth Leadership Award – 1 week camp for sophomore or junior student July 26 – July 31^st. Encourage students to apply at iowaRYLA.org. Oelwein Rotary will pay the $400 fee for student to attend at Grinnell College.

Gene Fuelling fines men who didn’t shave this morning, Steve Westerberg for picture in newspaper and Sandie Graff.

Program was provided by Barb Schmitz, elementary guideance counselor and administrator of the Oelwein Husky Adventure Program. The mini-camp program is for K-5^th grades and features before and after school programming up to 18 hours per week. The program is sponsored through a Department of Education 21^st Century grant and the State of Iowa that Bar was awarded and Oelwein is in the second year of a two-year grant program.

Next meeting will be Feb. 23^rd.
