Joan Loew called the meeting to order.
A visitor was present. Molly Schintler, Food Corp Coordinator in the Oelwein Community Schools System
Announcements:
                Oct. 7 – Mayoral Election. Poll open at Oelwein Community Plaza 12pm Noon – 8pm
                Oct. 8 – Fireman’s Spaghetti Supper
                Oct. 8 – Hometown Rewards Residential Speaker at Plaza 6-8pm. Learn how to save money on
                                energy
                Oct. 9 – Veno & VanGogh wine/painting class at Oelwein Public Library
 
Joan thanked everyone who helped with the Mayoral Forum
Susan Macken announced that the dictionaries have been ordered for the 3rd Graders and will need help with distribution once they arrive.

Drawing – No carryover and the pot was not won. Will carry over to next week.
Fines were assessed for anyone not attending the Mayoral Forum & also Bruce Bearinger.
