Rotary Minutes
09/12/16
Todd Bradley called the meeting to order
Visitors – None
Student Rotarians – Maddie Jackson, Madison Meyer & Olivia Williams                                                                                 
Announcements:
  • Oct. 3 – Will begin having meetings at Valone’s
  • Sept. 16 – United Way Day of Caring. Meet at Log Cabin park at 8:45am
  • Sept. 17 – Performance at Williams Center – “Bill Haley Jr & The Comets”
  • Sept. 24 – Fall Fling 10am-7pm
  • Oelwein Rotary will be hosting a Rotary Foundation fundraiser. Each member will get 10 tickets to sell for $10 each. A Galena Get-A-Way for a 2-night stay will be the grand prize. We are also looking for other nice prizes to be added to the prizes. Tickets will be ready to sell in October.

Fines – Fines were assessed for UNI & ISU fans.
Drawing –  $9.00 pot & $18.50 carry over. Al Sanderson was drawn. Will carry over to next week.
Rotarian of the Week – Kent Nelson
Song of the Day – Available for $5 which will be donated to Polio Plus
Program was presented by Megan Rex. She spoke on her experience with attending RYLA.
Meeting was adjourned.
Next meeting will be September 19th @ 1 West Office Plex in the office space in the main atrium.
