Walt Saur’s name was drawn for the $7.00 jackpot today, there will be a carryover.
Today’s presenter was Betsy Schmitz, who spent the summer working with the homeless in Los Angeles - An internship with the Catholic Worker House .

There will be a joint meeting of the area Rotary clubs on October 7th at West Union.
Thanks to all who helped make the Rotary Golf Tournament a success. Special thanks to Brett Ingersol , Steve Sanders, Sarah Lewis and others who helped.
Happy Bucks – Steve Sanders was happy the tournament was over! Gene Fuelling was happy his golf team did well. Bob Larimer and his family launched Chinese lanterns at the airport. Curt Solsma has 3 kids in college this Fall taking Lizzy to Wartburg to play volleyball.
New this year we will be reporting members join dates - John Sullivan joined the Oelwein Rotary club August 27, 2005.
President Schlitter announced his goal for the club of 40 members by then end of June next year. We currently have 35 members. Members are encouraged to invite prospective members to visit the club.
