President-elect Joan Loew opened the meeting at Luigis.

Our guest today was Florian Denis, Foreign Exchange Student.  He thanked the club for donating to his graduation party.

Our speaker today was Paul Ganske on the Oelwein Odd Rods.

The Chrysler Park cleanup was held June 2nd we had a great turn out and the park looks much improved.

June 10th - Oelwein Public Library will host wildlife photographer Kip Ladage at 6:30 p.m.

OCAD summer series begins this Thursday, June 12th ,  Bruce Bearinger will perform.

OCAD golf tournament will be held June 27th. Call OCAD to register or sponsor a hole.

We are close to meeting our Rotary Foundation goal of $2500.  If you have not donated yet, please give to Jon King by the end of June so we can meet our annual goal.

The Rotary Poker Bicycle Run will be held June 19th from 6-8 p.m.
Ragbrai will be in Oelwein on Friday, July 25th.  Kent, Brian, Susan, Brett, Al, Ashley, Kathie +1, and Curt stated they would be available to work the booth during this event, others will still get a chance to sign up at a future meeting.  Kent Nelson and Dean Schlitter will co-chair the committee. We discussed selling corn on the cob and drinks.  The board will discuss on June 16th.

Note this date change:  The Rotary Golf Tournament will be held August 23rd.  More information to follow, please see Steve Sanders if you can help with the tournament.            

Bob Larimer's name was drawn for the jackpot of $8.00, congrats, Bob!

Happy Bucks were given by:  Sandie Graf who attended the Winneshiek Co Relay for Life with her friend Karen who is battling cancer.  Al Sanderson and his church prepared 15,000 meals for Tanzania.  Kathy Larsen returned from two weeks of vacation.  Deb Howard was happy with the group that attended the pre-Ragbrai trip to Oelwein on Friday.  Charlene was in Atlanta to attend the high school graduation of her granddaughter.
