Al and Dean will be attending the Docs for Hope meeting on May 6th at 8:00 a.m. in New Hampton.  If you would like to attend as well, please contact them.

May 10th, Positively Oelwein and City of Oelwein will be sponsoring a free city-wide cleanup.     Please use this opportunity to beautiful Oelwein.

The High School Vocal Pops concert will also be May 10th at 7:00 p.m.

The Rotary Board meeting will be held next Monday, May 12th immediately following the regular meeting.

A date for the Chrysler Park cleanup will be set up soon, stay tuned!

Business After 5 will be held at Grandview Nursing Home.  Ashley reports there will be a Hawaiian theme.

The Rotary Poker Bicycle Run will be held June 19th from 6-8 p.m.               

Sarah Lewis’ name was drawn for the jackpot of $12.50, congrats, Sarah!

Happy Bucks were given by Steve Sanders who was enjoying the nice weather and the beginning of golf.  He also mentioned there will be a Wine and Cheese ladies golf lessons beginning Thursday night starting at 5:30 p.m.  The OCAD 4 some will be held June 27th and the Rotary golf tournament is tentatively scheduled for August 16th. Deb Howard was happy the Daddy/Daughter dance was well attended. Jamie Letzring enjoyed her birthday and a few days off, she is mentoring a high school student and was able to help register her for college classes on Friday.  Gene Fuelling was happy to see his granddaughter in a Moser gymnastics event. Kathie Larsen was happy about the Daddy/Daughter dance and also she participated in the Big Hollow Wilderness Run in Burlington. She recommends the area.  Al Sanderson thanked all who attended Ann’s surprise 80th birthday party at the Plaza on Sunday. 

We passed the hat to help pay for our foreign exchange student, Florian’s graduation party which will be held May 28th at Luigis.
