We welcomed student Rotarians:  Jenna Suckow and Grant McMillan and Foreign Exchange Student Rotarian, Florian Denis who presented the club with banners from his home club.

We welcomed a number of guests today including:  Dr. Dan Leisinger

Happy Bucks were given by Mike Kerns who attended a Pink concert last weekend, Steve Westerberg was happy to have attended the high school musical, Beauty and Beast last Friday and happy with the Panthers win, Laura Sires had the biggest news – she is expecting baby number 2, Congrats!

Walt Saur’s name was drawn for the $8 jackpot, he was unable to attend today.  He has been released from the hospital and is now at Grandview for rehabilitation.

Susan Macken thanked the volunteers who deliver dictionaries last Wednesday, those who delivered reported the students were very appreciative of owning their own dictionary. One young student even wanted to join Rotary!

Our speaker today was Don Meyer, Rotary Foundation.  Don reported on the Foundation and a program that would allow members to receive up to a $250 match to get to their first or next Paul Harris Fellow.  Please see Jon King to see how close you are to meeting your goal.

December 9th        Rotary Christmas party with the OCHS choir presenting.  We will also be collecting food for the food pantry.
